Laptop @ Kolkata/Bangalore - which brand?

  • My friend is relocating at Bangalore needs a laptop for documentation (ms office), movie, songs & Internet.

    Pls suggest :
    # Location 2 buy Kolkata or Bangalore ?
    # Brand - (accer/hcl/toshiba or anything els)

    light weight & fast performance for Internet is must

    budget - arround 30k

    Lets see who give the better price Kolkata / Bangalore;)

  • There is a AMD Turon based one with 512MB DDR-II availabel for Rs. 32500/- :) brand acer !! forgot the model number :(


  • compaq will do good its nice cheap and good value for money and good support to.
    go for AMD


  • The Brand is Compaq, the model is some 3226 or 6226 .. i am not sure for the exact one.. the frnd of mine who bought it is a very non tech person, hard to get the number on phone from him :lol:

  • I got it from Caltron last week !! :) even when Supreem where asking 14.6 and many others were asking 15k for the procy :lol:

  • Hey i saw Kolkata prices are really low when u know where to look, when people are buying C2D E6600 for 12k there i got it for 11k :) so Kolkata prices are cheaper than any where !!

    but only problem is finding the product... they always seems to be out of stock :lol:


  • That AMD Tuton 64 model with 512MB RAM and Free DOS os was quoted 32k incl TAX :D i am sorry cant remember the Model number, will let u know as one of my frnd brought it last week, will ask him later on for the exact model no !!!
