Looking for a Flash guru / graphic artist in Chicago area

I need someone very knowledgeable in Flash backend integration, dependable, delivering quality work and a talented graphic artist. The projects include full Flash sites, Flash parts as well as graphical design for regular HTML based sites. Experience in site layout, CSS, DHTML basics is required. I do about 95% of all the design and graphics for all my projects but do to limited time, I need to concentrate on programming and let someone else work on the graphics end. All work is off location on per project bases. Some projects might require meeting with the client. Deposit upfront with full payment upon delivery. Need someone to be available to start work on projects immediately.

J/k. As far as looking for a design partner, I've been working with mine for 2 years now and he's always lived across the country. I wouldn't worry about only looking in the windy city area. There are great designers all over that you might work great with. Good luck with the search.

I totally agree with you about working remotely. After all its internet stuff. But there are some benefits of being able to actually meet physically not just with the client but even to talk over details of the project, designs, etc. So much easer to be able to sit down and sketch out things on paper etc. Also for the graphics person to be able to sit down with the client with out myself being in the middle makes the whole process allot more efficient.
Given this, I'm also open to long distance development :D
I did get some interest but I did not close any deals yet. Still looking for someone for this and future projects :)
