What are the best programming tool(s) for the purpose of programming
video games and robotics for a 16 year old who wants to get started in
programming. In other words, what's the state of the art teaching
tools (book,
software, online courses, etc.).I'd start with basic. He/She can enroll in the local Junior College
and take programing courses. When I was 16 that is what I did. And
friends of my kids have done the same thing. The units he/she earns
can be used for High School credit.By the way, my little brother started just this way, writing computer
games on my Dad's Radio Shack computer, never went to college, and now
live in a multi-million dollar house overlooking Long Beach Harbor.
He now programs in his office at home and spents most of his time with
his kids. I hate my brother...
